As we remember Maggie,  we remember a beautiful young lady who lived her life in a way that deeply touched our hearts—she lived it with such joy, kindness, and grace.

Thank you for sharing your angel with us.  —R + C

Thank you Jill, for taking such good care of John. I know it's been a long road for you both, as he continues to recover from the horrific complications of COVID. John, thank you for never giving up, even when things seemed hopeless.   —F.A.

Emily is a traveling nurse and also a dear friend of our family. During Covid she was endlessly available to answer all our questions. In particular, she was an angel when it came to helping my daughter Natalie. Natalie came down with Covid and had a very hard time recovering. Emily was always there for her. No matter how tired Emily was, she spent time on the phone advising Natalie, encouraging her, loving her, helping her heal. She is a beautiful flower that is a constant source of joy for our family.....and we thank her for this gift.  —L.H.

Thank you just isn't enough, Esther. This thank you comes deep from within our hearts. Thank you for taking such good care of our mom in her last days with us. You gently and lovingly cared for her. We were in the early days of COVID, and you selflessly put the unknown horrors of this virus aside in order to care for her. You are an angel and we will never forget all you have done for our family.

Love —D.S.

Heather, you have truly been an Angel of Comfort for so many during COVID. You have nourished and sustained us with your delicious meals and kindness with each delivery. May peace and goodness surround you and your loved ones today and every day. Thank you for all you do to lift spirits, warm hearts, and light up this world.

With gratitude and love, AM, LB, and LG

To friends and family of Our Lady of Victory— During the pandemic, my own reflections about the importance of belonging to a family have helped me to see the value of faith, hope, and love in all aspects of family life: at home, in our community, and in our church family.

May God bless you and keep you safe. —A.M.

Our family is extremely grateful for the Kobacker House, a house of angels who compassionately care  for their patients who are in need of hospice care. When our father was at the end of his life and we needed help to care for him, you graciously opened your doors to care for him in the chaotic, uncertain times of COVID. Unfortunately, he passed away while we were still waiting for clearance to be with him. However, his nurse was with him and lovingly held him in her arms as he took his last breath. He peacefully died in the arms of an angel.

We are forever grateful. —The S. Familly

I found "my pod" to be an interesting term when it was introduced during the early stages of the pandemic.  And I certainly didn't realize just how important our pods were until we found ourselves in isolation. I couldn't see them, hug them, talk with them, laugh with them and cry with them enough during COVID. Saturdays were so special! We were peas in a pod.

I love my pod!  —T.I.
